I consider myself fortunate to be a part of an educational institution that sets up high expectations for learning and provides support for all learners to achieve their goals. We, as leaders and teachers, are confident that the elementary school will pose the right challenge for your child to help him/her develop academically and socially.
This year, our goal focuses on implementing California Core Standards, the English-Language Development Standards, modern mathematics strategies, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and promoting the ongoing assessment that supports the learning of students to be lifelong learners.
The information in this handbook will help you know Riyadh Schools’ policies and services, find answers to any questions you might have about our schools, and assist your child to organize time and assignments effectively. Moreover, it will allow parents to follow the daily progress of their child in the classroom and through his/her assignments. It also works as a proper tool for parents to communicate with teachers about their children.
The communication between home and school is a key reason for the academic and social development of students. Hence, we hope you make use of the formal and informal opportunities to effectively communicate with the Elementary School’s staff.
Again, we would like to encourage your participation and welcome your suggestions.
I urge you to carefully read this handbook and keep it as a reference throughout the school year, and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Furthermore, you will find in this handbook the contact details of the school leaders to communicate with them when needed.
In conclusion, we are looking forward to establishing effective communication with parents to ensure a successful school year for our dear students.
